NEW 2018 study: men orgasm 95% women 65% recent sexual encounter

This study shows how couples can improve the ability to both orgasm in the bedroom. This 50,000 person samepl-sized study revealed that 95% of heterosexual men reported orgasming at their last sexual encounter whereas 65% of heterosexual women reported orgasming.

Here are some TIPS (words taken directly from the Frederick_et_al-2018-Archives_of_Sexual_Behavior article:

women who orgasmed more frequently were more likely to:

  1. Receive more oral

    sex

  2. Have longer duration of last sex

  3. Be more satisfied with their relationship and ask for what they want in bed

  4. Praise their partner for something they did in bed

  5. Call/email to tease about doing something sexual, wear sexy lingerie, try new sexual positions, act out fantasies, incorporate sexy talk

  6. Express love during sex.

Women were more likely to orgasm if their last
sexual encounter included deep kissing, manual genital stimulation,
and/or oral sex in addition to vaginal intercourse.

Abstract There is a notable gap between heterosexual men
andwomenin frequency of orgasmduringsex.Little isknown,
however, about sexual orientation differences in orgasm frequency.
Weexaminedhowover30different traits orbehaviors
were associated with frequency of orgasm when sexually intimate
during the pastmonth.Weanalyzed a largeUSsample of
adults (N=52,588) who identified as heterosexual men (n=
26,032), gaymen (n=452), bisexualmen (n=550), lesbian
women (n=340), bisexual women (n=1112), and heterosexualwomen(
n=24,102).Heterosexualmenweremost likely to
saytheyusually-alwaysorgasmedwhensexuallyintimate(95%),
followedbygaymen(89%), bisexualmen(88%), lesbianwomen
(86%), bisexualwomen (66%), and heterosexualwomen (65%).
Comparedtowomenwho orgasmed less frequently,womenwho
orgasmedmore frequently weremore likely to: receive more oral
sex, have longer duration of last sex, bemore satisfied with their
relationship, ask for what they want in bed, praise their partner for
something theydid inbed,call/email totease aboutdoingsomething
sexual, wear sexy lingerie, try new sexual positions, anal
stimulation, act out fantasies, incorporate sexytalk, and express
love during sex.Womenweremore likely to orgasmif their last
sexual encounter included deep kissing, manual genital stimulation,
and/or oral sex in addition to vaginal intercourse. We
consider sociocultural and evolutionary explanations for these
orgasmgaps.The results suggest a varietyofbehaviorscouples
can try to increase orgasm frequency.
